چکیده
Due to an increase in serious infections and a lack of efficient therapies, Klebsiella pneumoniae has recently gained more recognition. The production carbapenemases is one the most common strategies by which K. acquire resistance carbapenems considered last resort antibiotics. Previously collected isolates from different clinical settings on basis their genetic profile, mainly absence presence single or dual (OXA-181, OXA-232, NDM-1, NDM-5, NDM-5+OXA-181, NDM-1+OXA-232), mutations porins, efflux pumps, seven (M40, M52, M39, J20, M53, M49, M17B) were selected. Its phenotypic against two carbapenem drugs (ertapenem meropenem) was checked we found NDM-5 followed OXA-181 NDM-5+OXA-181 carrying showed high MIC values. Further, no significant differences observed either pumps porins among isolates. By molecular docking, amino acid between OXA-232 with acids NDM-1 higher binding affinity than both It concluded that specific combinations same can drastically OXA-181, fatal NDM-1+OXA-232.

Background and Objectives: Klebsiella pneumonia is a facultative anaerobe bacterium from enterobacteriaceae family, which causes a wide range of diseases, such as urinary tract infections, cystitis, pneumonia, surgical wounds infections, infectious endocarditis, and diffused infections, especially in patients with HIV infection and immunosuppression. The aim of this study was to identify carbap...

Limiting and controlling carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae
Carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CRKP) is resistant to almost all antimicrobial agents, is associated with substantial morbidity and mortality, and poses a serious threat to public health. The ongoing worldwide spread of this pathogen emphasizes the need for immediate intervention. This article reviews the global spread and risk factors for CRKP colonization/infection, and provides a...

Infections by Carbapenem-Resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE), in particular, carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CRKp), are a significant public health challenge worldwide. Resistance to carbapenems in enterobacteriaceae is linked to different mechanisms, including the production of the various types of enzymes like KPC, VIM, IMP, NDM, and OXA-48. Despite several attempts to control the ...
متن کاملRisk Factors for Carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae Infection and Mortality of Klebsiella pneumoniae Infection
BACKGROUND Klebsiella pneumoniae (KP) is a pathogen commonly causing nosocomial infection. Carbapenem-resistant KP (CRKP) is more resistant to multiple antimicrobial drugs than carbapenem-susceptible KP (CSKP) isolates. The aim of the present study was to identify the risk factors for CRKP infection and the predictors of mortality among KP-infected adult patients. METHODS Patients with CRKP a...
